How I went from burned out to balanced… and how you can too.
Hey! I’m Amy.
Balanced living + mindfulness ⤑ and mentoring educators in both are my jam.
So how can YOU create balance in your life, in and out of the classroom?
Well, to get us started, let me share a little of my backstory. Where I’ve been, and where I am now…
You see, I’ve been a teacher for over 20 years. And some of those years haven’t always been easy. (Can you relate?)
The learning curve for creating balance was sometimes high.
I wanted to be the BEST teacher ever for my students. You know, the teachers that students remember even after they’ve graduated because they made an impact.
But there were times that I was overwhelmed. Anxious. Tired. (Are you nodding your head in agreement?)
I couldn’t figure out how to balance my time as an educator. All too often, my evenings and weekends were often spent on the computer or grading papers.
I knew I didn’t want to quit teaching. Teaching is my passion! It’s at the core of who I am, and how I want to serve in the world.
